Paget, Arthur Richard: Son of George Edmund, M.A. born in London, 21 Sept. 1878. Educated at Radley College, and under a private tutor, Admitted pensioner under Mr. Cartmell 21 Mar. 1896.
Resided five terms. Brother of Harold Edmund George (1905). A Director in Messrs. Paget, Digby and Co., Ltd. of Mowbray House, London, West African Merchants; since 1900 has travelled in every quarter on business; during 1906 resided for nine months in Tripoli; first went to Japan in 1903, where he has resided since 1909. Married 9 Oct. 1911 to Ichi, eldest daughter of the late S. Watanabe of Shimoda and Yokohama. Since 1910 the representative of Sir Robert Hadfield, F.R.S., of Messrs. Hadfield's, the largest projectile makers in Sheffield. Japanese address: 946 Shinmei Cho, Oiso., Home: Oak Lodge, Broomhill, Tunbridge Wells.

Arthur Paget, travelled to Japan with David Reginald Salomons, and married a Japanese wife, Ichi Watanabe, in Yokohama in 1911.
