William Edmond Partridge

William progressed from a farm manager to being a farm worker.
In 1881 William was at home with his parents and siblings at Leat Street, Tiverton, working on the family farm.William became farm manager at Muckwell after the death of William Lawrence Pitts, and is thus recorded in 1901.
He married Kate Pitts, one of the daughters of the house, in the Brethren chapel, Kingsbridge.
By the time he married Kate they have moved to Woolfardisworthy, and at Winifred's birth they were in Cornwall, at Withiel, where he was a farm labourer.
